You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes.
The work schedule typically runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient availability.Key Responsibilities\n\n Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.\n Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, for individuals, couples, and families.\n Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, encouraging community building among patients facing similar challenges.\n Coordinate care with other professionals by participating in case consultations and team meetings to provide holistic patient support.\n Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety and stabilization.\n Educate patients about their mental health conditions, discussing treatment options and connecting them with community resources.\n Maintain accurate, confidential documentation following legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.\n Stay informed on the latest trends, research, and advancements in mental health therapy.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n At Helping Hand Behavioral Clinic, you will work with a diverse client population representing various ages, backgrounds, and mental health concerns.
Our patients seek compassionate, individualized care, and your role as a mental health therapist will be crucial in helping them navigate their challenges and achieve therapeutic goals.Qualifications\n\n A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.\n Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.\n Solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.\n Proven capability to perform thorough mental health assessments and create effective treatment plans.\n Experience in delivering individual and group therapy to diverse populations.\n Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.\n Strong ethical judgment and commitment to professional boundaries.\n Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology in patient care.\nPreferred Experience\n\n Experience with telehealth delivery methods and technologies.\n Background in crisis intervention and emergency mental health support.\n Familiarity with the local community resources and support services available to patients.\n Experience in leading and facilitating support groups or workshops.\nCompensation and Benefits\n This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise.
