Elmet offers competitive pay, bonuses, benefits, and opportunities to grow.\n\n\n $20.50-$25.50 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential for 3rd shift\n $250 perfect-attendance bonus every month - up to $3,000 per year\n Quarterly production bonus of up to 9%, based on company performance\n 4% company match on retirement savings\n Benefits starting Day One\n Three medical plan options\n Dental and vision coverage\n Company-paid life insurance\n Company-paid short-term and long-term disability\n Paid time off\n Paid company holidays\n Tuition assistance\n $1,000 employee referral bonus\n Internal growth opportunities\n\nYour Schedule\n\n\nThis is a full-time, 3rd Shift position at our Coldwater manufacturing facility.\n\n\nYou'll work as part of our production team operating and monitoring specialized furnaces used to manufacture high-performance metal products.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\n\nAs a Machine Operator in Sintering, you'll help operate the furnaces and equipment that turn materials into finished products that meet our quality standards.\n\n\nDuring a typical shift, you'll:\n\n\n Safely operate and monitor production furnaces and related equipment\n Prepare furnaces and materials for production\n Select the correct materials for loading based on production requirements\n Safely load and unload parts and materials\n Visually inspect parts before and after processing\n Monitor furnace speed and temperature\n Record operating information and make adjustments when needed\n Inspect finished parts to make sure they meet specifications\n Learn to use measuring tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, and dial indicators\n Identify production orders and maintain accurate product traceability\n Follow established safety procedures, including procedures for power interruptions and furnace operations\n Complete required production and inspection records\n Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized\n Help with other production activities as needed\n\nNever used a micrometer or dial caliper?

We can teach you.\n\n\nWhat matters is your ability to learn, follow procedures, work safely, and pay attention to details.\n\n\nRequirements\n\nYou Could Be a Great Fit If You:\n\n\n Have a high school diploma or equivalent\n Show up consistently and can be counted on\n Enjoy hands-on work\n Are comfortable working around manufacturing equipment\n Are willing to learn how to operate specialized furnaces and equipment\n Can perform basic math\n Can follow written and verbal instructions\n Pay attention to details\n Take safety seriously\n Can accurately record production information\n Work well as part of a team\n\nPrevious manufacturing experience is helpful, but it is not required.\n\n\nIf you've worked in manufacturing, warehousing, construction, automotive, maintenance, food production, equipment operation, skilled trades, or another hands-on environment, you may already have skills that can help you succeed at Elmet.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\n\n\nWe don't expect you to know everything about sintering or refractory metals on Day One.\n\n\nSuccessful Machine Operators:\n\n\n Put safety first\n Show up consistently and on time\n Learn the equipment and manufacturing process\n Follow production instructions carefully\n Monitor equipment and recognize when something doesn't look right\n Inspect and measure their work accurately\n Keep accurate production records\n Ask questions when they're unsure\n Look out for their teammates\n Keep their work area clean and organized\n Continue learning new equipment and skills\n\nLearn Skills.
