Palm Health Medical Center operates a detoxification center, where our compassionate team collaborates to create safe and inclusive environments for clients.
In this remote capacity, the LICSW will engage in digital communications, team meetings, and client sessions via secure telehealth platforms, ensuring continuity of care and effective treatment planning.Key Responsibilities\n\n Provide direct clinical care to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders through in-person and virtual sessions.\n Develop and implement individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments, ensuring access to appropriate treatment services.\n Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client outcomes and foster a supportive working environment.\n Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and arrange for more detailed assessments as necessary.\n Maintain the confidentiality and safety of client information while complying with ethical and professional standards.\n Document client progress accurately while ensuring timely reporting of all necessary information in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.\n Participate in on-call duties and contribute to crisis intervention efforts when required.\n Engage in continuous professional development activities and participate in quality improvement initiatives within the organization.\n Facilitate family therapy sessions and group interventions to address complex therapeutic needs.\n Monitor and review client caseload regularly, addressing treatment goals and ensuring alignment with clients’ evolving needs.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\n The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals challenged by substance use disorders, mental health issues, and psychosocial challenges.

Emphasizing empowerment and choice, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their recovery journeys.Qualifications\n\n A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field is required, with a valid LICSW license in Massachusetts.\n Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment practices for clients facing mental health and emotional challenges.\n Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to foster relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.\n Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage a varied caseload effectively.\n Demonstrated ability to work within diverse teams and adapt to the unique needs of different cultural and social backgrounds.\nPreferred Experience\n\n At least 2 years of clinical experience working directly with populations experiencing mental health challenges, particularly in a detox or rehabilitation setting.\n Knowledge of and experience with crisis intervention techniques and resource management.\n Familiarity with comprehensive care models and integrated treatment approaches.\nCompensation and Benefits\n The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
