Lutheran Social Services is seeking a compassionate Recovery Support Professional to empower adults facing behavioral health and housing challenges. In this role, you will provide person-centered, recovery-focused support through coaching, skill-building, and advocacy. You will help clients develop independent living skills, connect to community resources, and follow individualized service plans. Working within a mission-driven, faith-based, and client-centered team, you will collaborate with clinicians and case managers, maintain accurate documentation, and support crisis and safety plans. Responsibilities
Provide direct recovery-oriented support to clients in behavioral health and housing programs
Coach clients in developing coping skills, independent living skills, and wellness plans
Support clients in accessing community resources, benefits, and supportive services
Document services, progress notes, and critical incidents accurately and timely in accordance with agency standards
Collaborate with clinicians, case managers, and community partners to coordinate care
Model hope, self-advocacy, and empowerment consistent with recovery principles
Assist with group activities, psychoeducation, and peer support sessions as appropriate
Ensure client safety, follow crisis and de-escalation protocols, and report concerns promptly
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training to maintain best practices
