Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

The Emergency Department is designed to provide high-quality care to patients in urgent need of medical attention. Our unit is committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for both staff and patients.

Number of Beds: 23

Number of Staff: 40

Patient Ratios: 4:1

Type of Equipment: Welch Allyn, GE

EMR: Meditech

Shift Details: Night Shift - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per schedule

No Call Required

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Current certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience

2 years of Emergency Department experience

ENPC certification over PALS

Cardioversion

TNK (Tissue Plasminogen Activator)

Moderate Sedation

Flexibility in handling varied patient volumes

A positive and upbeat demeanor

All staff are required to wear navy blue scrubs.
