Electronics Display Installer and Merchandiser

2020 Companies is hiring dependable, organized, and motivated Retail Installation & Merchandising Specialists to support well-known brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP.

In this position, you’ll work independently at retail locations within a 90-mile travel area while completing a variety of merchandising and installation projects. You’ll use mobile technology to review assignments, manage your schedule, follow project instructions, and document completed work. Strong time-management and communication skills are important, along with the ability to build positive relationships with store teams and consistently deliver quality results.

Position Details

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Travel: Must be available to travel up to 90 miles from your residence for assignments

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Hours: Flexible scheduling with assignments available between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Please note: The number of hours available will depend on assignment volume and is not guaranteed.

Scheduling Options: Work may include flexible self-scheduled assignments as well as predetermined shifts based on client and project requirements

Screening Requirements: Candidates must have a reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance. Successful completion of a background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening, and drug screening is required in accordance with applicable state laws.

What You’ll Do

Assemble, install, maintain, and update retail fixtures, shelving, endcaps, and product displays

Assist with store resets, retail build-outs, remodeling projects, and display repairs

Follow planograms (POGs), schematics, and client-specific project instructions to ensure accurate execution

Set up and service TVs, kiosks, interactive displays, and other retail display equipment

Perform required software and operating system updates on display devices

Install or replace promotional graphics, pricing cards, SD cards, and other marketing materials

Identify and troubleshoot hardware or display issues to help ensure equipment is working correctly

Take and upload photos with a mobile device to verify and document completed assignments

Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized while professionally representing the client

What You’ll Need

Comfortable working with hand tools and technology

Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and dependable personal transportation

Ability and willingness to safely climb ladders up to 10 feet

Ability to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs

Ability to walk, kneel, crouch, bend, reach overhead, and perform repetitive physical activities throughout the workday

Willingness to travel as far as 90 miles in any direction from your residence for service assignments

Must provide and use required tools, including Phillips head and flat head screwdrivers, hex keys, box cutter, tape measure, microfiber cloth, and 256G USB with USB-A / C adapter

Smartphone with a current operating system and active data plan

Ability to download and use mobile apps, follow digital work instructions, and submit photos documenting completed assignments
