We are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to support an accounting team in Columbus, OH. This contract-to-hire opportunity will focus primarily on invoice processing and vendor maintenance. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and looking to grow their experience within accounts payable and accounting.
Responsibilities
Process and enter accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
Review invoices for completeness and assist with resolving discrepancies
Support vendor maintenance, including new vendor setup and updates to existing vendor information
Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation
Respond to internal and vendor inquiries related to invoices or account informationQualifications
At least one year of previous accounts payable, accounting, or data-entry experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Interested in a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term employmentPay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
