Mr. Fix-It Professional Handyman Services is seeking a Handyman Technician to deliver reliable repair, maintenance, and upkeep services for residential or commercial needs in Bakersfield, CA.Position Summary

As a Handyman Technician, you will perform skilled, hands-on maintenance and repair tasks to ensure properties remain safe, functional, and well maintained. You will handle a variety of fixes, from routine maintenance to troubleshooting common issues across interior and exterior spaces.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Bakersfield, CA, where you will apply practical technical skills, follow established processes, and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders to support timely completion of work.Key Responsibilities

Complete maintenance and repair work including troubleshooting issues and performing fixes across multiple home or building systems.

Assist with installation, replacement, and basic adjustments for fixtures, hardware, and other property components as needed.

Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and report findings promptly.

Follow safety procedures and ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in proper condition.

Coordinate scheduling and work order progress by documenting work completed and communicating status updates.Required Qualifications

Proven experience performing handyman or maintenance technician work with the ability to complete repairs accurately.

Working knowledge of common tools and basic repair practices across multiple property maintenance tasks.

Ability to read simple instructions, follow standard procedures, and complete tasks within required timelines.

Comfortable working onsite in a physically active role, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders as needed.

Clear communication skills and a customer-focused, professional work attitude.Preferred Qualifications

Experience with light electrical, plumbing, or general carpentry tasks.

Familiarity with basic diagnostic approaches for identifying causes of common household or property issues.

Ability to prioritize multiple requests and maintain consistent attention to detail.

Prior experience working from maintenance logs, work orders, or similar service documentation.Compensation
