Overview:

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Department: Med Surg

Shifts Available: Nights

Pay: up to $1,680 - $2,100 gross pay per week; equivalent to $40.00-$50.00 per hour.

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment

Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes

Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws

Support care plans and patient throughput

Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams

Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance

Document care in EMR/EHR systems

Communicate changes in patient condition promptly Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

High School Diploma or equivalent required.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.

IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required

Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

One (1) year of LPN Med Surg experience required.

Pay Transparency:

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40.00 to $50.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
