About the Role:
Frank Gillitzer Electric Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive electrical project estimates for commercial, industrial, and residential bids
Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and scope of work documents
Perform material takeoffs and labor cost analysis for electrical projects
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop complete bid packages
Track and maintain bid schedules, deadlines, and proposal submissions
Source and negotiate pricing with electrical suppliers and vendors
Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies during the pre-construction phaseRequirements:
5+ years of experience in electrical estimating or a related electrical contracting role
Strong understanding of electrical systems, NEC codes, and construction drawings
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
Strong communication skills for vendor negotiations and team collaboration
Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plusAbout Us:
