SolidWorks Drafter

Job Description

This position is responsible for operating Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and related computer system, including creating, updating and modifying prints, printing and scanning documents, performs SolidWorks drafting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Creates CAD drawings for engineering as assigned.

Retrieves and stores drawings & files properly within SolidWorks EPDM file management program and folders.

Able to work from redlines, hand sketches and scanned documents to update prints.

Reviews Request for Quote (RFQ) documentation and submits clarifications to Project Engineer.

Completes RFQ Bill of Materials and labor sheets.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD/SolidWorks drafting or related field, preferred

One to three years of related work experience in fabrication or manufacturing, preferred
