You will be leading our foundry operations team if chosen for this role. You will be on the foundry floor for the majority of your day. If you do not have at least 2-3 years of iron foundry experience - You will not be a good fit for this role.

You'll oversee all aspects of foundry production, including:
Melting operations
Molding
Metal casting
Finishing operations
Production scheduling
Quality improvement
Safety initiatives
Equipment utilization
Workforce developmentWhat You'll Do
As Foundry Production Manager, you'll lead daily operations while driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Responsibilities include:
Lead daily and weekly production to meet customer demand
Supervise and develop production supervisors and hourly employees
Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Reduce scrap and improve first-pass quality
Monitor production KPIs, labor efficiency, and throughput
Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement
Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, and operational excellence
Partner with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
Collaborate with Quality to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Manage raw material utilization and production efficiency
Analyze production performance and communicate results to leadership
QualificationsRequired
Previous foundry manufacturing experience
Manufacturing leadership experience managing production teams
Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling
Experience improving productivity and operational performance
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred
Experience with:
