Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights (flexible scheduling reviewed every 4 weeks), 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratioHighlights:

Mixed acuity unit serving both Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Medical-Surgical patients with oncology focus

36-bed unit with a daily census of 32, specializing in head and neck cancers, neuro-oncology, and brain tumors

Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility

Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more

72-hour orientation period to ensure smooth transition and integration

Oncology experience preferred but not required; strong focus on infection prevention and patient safety protocolsRequirements:

Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry required

Current, consistent acute care experience within the last 12 months in the specialty

Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license)

Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

Epic charting system experience required

BLS certification required; ACLS, NIHSS, and OCN certifications preferred

Competency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy management, BiPAP/CPAP management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, drain management (JP drains, Hemovacs), and chemotherapy administration preferred

Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred

Willingness to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity levels

Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
