Job Title: .NET Developer (Banking Application)

Job Type: Contract W-2

Job location: New York, New York (Hybrid- 3 days onsite)

Must Have: .Net / SQL, scripting skills in Perl, Unix Shell Scripting and Windows batch scripting.

Experience level: 5-9 years of experience

A global bank is seeking a .NET Developer to program and build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. The NET Developer with Functional Equity back-office system will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems, and provide user support.

Primary Responsibilities:

Participate in requirements analysis

Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture

Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages

Test and deploy applications and systems

Revise, update, refactor and debug code

Improve existing software

Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

Requirements:

Experience in Application Support and development or related experience.

Experience developing and supporting applications including scripting skills in Perl, Unix Shell Scripting and Windows batch scripting.

Experience in Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.

Provide daily support with resolution of escalated tickets and act as liaison to business and technical leads to ensure issues are resolved in timely manner.
