General Manager (GM)

Job Description

The General Manager role is a great opportunity to grow within our organization at McDonald's locations in Chippewa, Beaver Falls and Ellwood City. The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of restaurant operations. This position plays a key role in leading the team, maintaining operational standards, developing employees, and helping the restaurant achieve strong business results.

Responsibilities

Manage shifts while maintaining standards for product quality, service, cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety

Develop and train crew members and hourly management

Ensure all safety and security procedures are followed

Demonstrate and reinforce strong leadership and people-management practices

Recruit, staff, schedule, and retain employees

Exercise appropriate authority regarding hiring, discipline, and termination when necessary

Build sales and control expenses to achieve business goals

Promote a respectful and positive workplace

Complete assigned operational and management responsibilities

Lead by example through professional appearance, attitude, and dependability

Communicate effectively with employees and management

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team

Strong customer service mindset

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
