At S5, we offer a leading-edge compensation package that includes top-tier salaries, up to 25% profit sharing into a qualified retirement account, flexible PTO, and company paid medical, vision and dental premiums for you and your family. You'll join a team of innovative engineers committed to innovation and excellence. We prioritize professional growth and team cohesion through technical trainings, team dinners, retreats, and an annual fully sponsored off-site. Our culture is built to support your career development, personal well-being, and long-term success.

As a Software Test Engineer at S5 Analytics, you will be an integral part of our team, developing a strong system-level understanding of the customer's software and how it is used from an end-user perspective. You will write and execute automated front-end regression tests, develop and perform manual regression testing procedures, and document test performance, software defects, and design inefficiencies.

You will work closely with developers to create realistic and effective testing scenarios, bringing an understanding of what makes a strong test and how testing can best support the development team throughout the software lifecycle. This role requires developer-level coding and/or scripting skills in JavaScript, Bash, Python, and YAML, with the ability to apply those skills to test automation, troubleshooting, and overall system validation.

You will demonstrate a high level of self-initiative, technical curiosity, and ownership in your work, with the ability to independently build system knowledge, identify potential issues, and serve as a reliable partner to the development team.

This position is full time and on-site in the Denver area.

Experience developing and executing manual and automated tests, including functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing

Experience with front-end, back-end, and API testing, using automation frameworks and tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Postman, REST Assured, or similar
