Housekeeping Aide

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for performing routine cleaning and sanitizing duties throughout the community, including resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other designated spaces. You will also help maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and equipment, and report any maintenance, safety, or repair concerns promptly.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas

Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors and surfaces

Empty trash and replace liners

Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces according to facility procedures

Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and equipment

Report any maintenance, safety, or repair concerns to management

Follow infection prevention and control procedures

Respond courteously to resident requests and concerns

Assist with apartment turnovers and move-in preparations

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar role

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and infection control practices

Experience working with older adults

Certification in housekeeping or a related field
