Software Engineer II

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience as a full-stack web developer with the ability to see a concept and turn it into a product; developing both the back-end, front-end and database interaction.

Responsibilities:

Master programming languages, frameworks, and tools and execute complex technical tasks with minimal oversight.

Contribute to the architectural design of software systems, including proposing scalable and efficient solutions.

Mentor and guide junior engineers on coding standards and problem-solving strategies.

Lead the charge on improving code quality, performance, and scalability.

Champion automated testing and continuous integration to ensure top-tier software reliability.

Lead teams in project planning, task prioritization, and execution and act as the go-to person for technical decision-making and discussions.

Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/management information systems or in a business relevant discipline

3-5 years experience in PHP and SQL, primarily MySQL

Strong front-end user interface skills including HTML5, Javascript, and CSS

Familiarity with the Symfony framework

High attention to detail and experience with end-to-end testing

Written and verbal communication skills to understand user requirements and properly communicate through project development

What will make you stand out:

Familiarity with Git and GitHub

Sencha ExtJS, React, Angular or other Javascript framework experience

Amazon Web Services experience including S3, EC2, and RDS.

MongoDB

Flutter/Dart experience
