Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team specializing in Cardiac Telemetry. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. Patients typically present with various cardiovascular diagnoses, including but not limited to sepsis, myocardial infarction (MI), unstable angina, and Coronary Artery Disease.

Key Responsibilities

Administer vasoactive drugs and antiarrhythmic therapies.

Monitor and manage patients receiving thrombolytic therapy.

Perform defibrillation and cardioversion procedures as needed.

Assist in thoracentesis and other critical care procedures.

Conduct cardiac telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation.

Implement non-invasive blood pressure monitoring and assessments.

Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Float to different units or facilities as required based on patient care needs.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Minimum of one year of experience with EPIC electronic health record system.

At least two years of nursing experience in cardiac telemetry or a related field preferred.

First-time travelers will be considered based on relevant experience.

This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:30, with weekend coverage every other weekend, subject to change based on departmental needs.
