Lead deck builder/Trim Carpenter

Job Description

The Lead Builder/Lead Carpenter will oversee deck and deck railing installations, reporting directly to the owner and executing established project plans. This role combines hands-on carpentry expertise with blueprint interpretation, careful attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining clean and safe job sites.

Responsibilities

Perform carpentry work for deck and deck railing installations.

Ability to read blue prints and re-design in the field.

Retains responsibility for projects with both clients and employees.

Maintain close attention to detail throughout construction/ability to close out jobs for final inspection.

Maintain a clean and safe job site including professional appearance.

Report project progress and relevant issues to the owner/office administrator on a daily basis.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in carpentry and construction.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to tow up to 25 ft trailers.

Clean driving history.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Must own a reliable 1/2 Ton truck or bigger.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with finish carpentry and framing.

Blueprint reading skills.

Strong problem-solving skills.
