JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a 1st Shift Lead Warehouse Associate for a leading telecommunications infrastructure client in Plain City, OH. This individual will work closely with warehouse leadership to support the day-to-day operations of a rapidly growing warehouse network while serving as a key resource for inventory accuracy, material tracking, shipment reconciliation, and quality control. The ideal candidate brings a strong warehouse background combined with experience managing inventory discrepancies, documentation, and operational processes. Compensation: $26/hr to $30/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins at employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must-Haves:

• 2+ years of warehouse experience within telecom, underground construction, utilities, or a related industry

• Experience with inventory management, cycle counts, material reconciliation, and warehouse documentation

• Experience working with Duraline reels and wooden fiber reels

• Strong Excel or inventory management system experience

• Experience investigating inventory discrepancies, damaged shipments, and quality control issues

• OSHA 10 certification (active)

• Forklift certification with hands-on experience (active)

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Experience coordinating materials, shipments, and contractors in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Plusses:

• Experience working with purchase orders, material budgets, and logistics coordination

• Experience in a high-growth or high-volume warehouse environment

Day-to-Day:

• Partner closely with warehouse leadership to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure all documentation is up to date

• Review daily counts, inventory reports, shipments, and material movement to support day-to-day operations across multiple warehouses

• Investigate damaged shipments, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and support quality control initiatives

• Coordinate material deliveries directly to contractors supporting underground fiber construction projects

• Receive, organize, track, and distribute fiber reels, conduit, and other construction materials

• Perform inventory counts, stock management, and warehouse reporting

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely while maintaining OSHA compliance

• Support warehouse growth initiatives and help develop scalable inventory and material management processes
