Production Supervisor

Job Description

Our Client is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Fort Valley, GA facility. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' of supervisory experience within a Manufacturing or Textile environment. This role will oversee the activities of production in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the required quality and quantity of product is produced.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and supervise the manufacturing of product, while ensuring the plant runs in a safe, quality-conscious, clean, and efficient manner.

Maintain accurate time, production records, and ensure timely delivery of product.

Meet established objectives as they pertain to the shift.

Manage department priorities and complete appropriate production documentation.

Review orders to ensure accuracy and verify that sufficient/correct components are staged to complete production run.

Assign work, implement policies and procedures, and recommend improvement in productions methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.

Ensures the quality of the item being produced is manufacture to product specifications.

Supervises, promotes, and enforces compliance of company policies/rules/procedures.

Trains new hires and current employees in their assigned work.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

A minimum of 3 years' of supervisory experience within a Manufacturing or Textile environment.

Ability to oversee the activities of production in a safe and efficient manner

Must be able to problem solve, execute solutions, and manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.

Must exhibit teamwork and ability to coach, mentor, train, and develop a team.

Ability to make suggestions that help cut cost, improve quality, and processes.

Good computer skills to include the ability to create and update documents in MS Word and Excel is required.
