Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Location: Qatar

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to improve production processes, operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. The candidate will analyze workflows, identify process improvements, optimize resources, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and improve production and operational processes.

Develop and implement methods to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Conduct time studies, work measurement, and process analysis.

Optimize manpower, equipment, materials, and workflow.

Prepare production plans, process layouts, and workflow diagrams.

Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and waste and recommend corrective actions.

Monitor KPIs related to productivity, quality, efficiency, and costs.

Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, procurement, and management teams.

Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and performance analysis.

Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation.

Ensure processes comply with company standards, safety requirements, and quality procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Typically 2–5 years of relevant industrial/production engineering experience.

Experience in process improvement, production planning, or operations is preferred.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process-improvement methodologies.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and data analysis; knowledge of AutoCAD or ERP systems is an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred for Qatar:

Experience in manufacturing, construction, facilities, oil & gas, or industrial operations in Qatar/GCC can be advantageous. Familiarity with local HSE and quality requirements is also beneficial.
