Development & Community Impact Director

Keene Young Mens Christian Association (Keene YMCA) seeks a Development & Community Impact Director to drive fundraising and deepen community impact. In this mission-driven role, you will lead donor cultivation, major gifts, and grant strategy to support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility programs. You will build partnerships, design impact initiatives, and track outcomes across the community. Collaborating with leadership and program teams, you'll align development goals with strategic priorities, manage budgets and staff, and represent Keene YMCA at events and with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic fundraising initiatives to support Keene YMCA's mission and programs

Cultivate and steward major donors, sponsors, and community partners

Design and implement community impact strategies and outcome measurement

Oversee grant identification, writing, reporting, and compliance

Collaborate with program, marketing, and membership teams to align development with impact goals

Manage development budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics

Supervise and mentor development staff and volunteers

Represent Keene YMCA at community events and stakeholder meetings

Develop campaigns that elevate brand awareness and community engagement

Report impact and fundraising results to senior leadership and the board
