Machine Operator

Job Description

Machine Operator - Operates a variety of machines such as the Stamtec, GE Press, Victor, Spot-welder, drill presses, saws, and sand blasters to produce sub-assemblies or complete finished goods.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read blueprints

Diploma or GED

Minimum 6 months of related factory work experience

Must be able to pass drug screen

Mazak and Mazatrol Machine Experience or similar

DUTIES:

Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use simple math to perform basic calculations.

Must be able to operate a variety of machines to perform the following tasks punching, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, spot welding and sandblasting.

Perform inspection of machined parts using calipers and basic measuring tools.

Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements.

Maintains work area and equipment in clean orderly condition, performs preventative maintenance and follows prescribed safety procedures.

Ability to work with chemicals, solvents, adhesives, and lubricants.

Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing.\nCompany Description
