Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal role based in Bibb County, GA. The Paralegal will support attorneys by drafting and reviewing legal documents, organizing case files, and assisting with discovery and trial preparation. Daily responsibilities include managing deadlines, maintaining accurate records, conducting basic legal and factual research, and communicating with clients, court personnel, and other parties in a professional manner. The role involves preparing correspondence and pleadings, scheduling meetings and hearings, and ensuring that case materials are complete and accessible. The Paralegal will collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to help move cases forward efficiently and provide responsive client service.

Qualifications

Strong legal research, document drafting, and case file management skills.

Proficiency with office and legal software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and case management tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a busy law office.

Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment.

Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm or legal department preferred.

Paralegal certificate or relevant education in legal studies is beneficial; equivalent experience may be considered.

Familiarity with Georgia court procedures and filings is a plus.
