Job Description

National Contractor is currently hiring experienced Pipefitters for commercial and industrial projects.

We are hiring pipefitters who can work independently, read drawings, and safely install and assemble piping systems.

Location: Milton, FL

Pay Rate Range: $22 to $32 an hr

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems

Measure, cut, thread, groove, and fit pipe

Install valves, fittings, supports, and related components

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Perform accurate measurements and pipe layouts

Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC, and other piping systems as required

Assist with testing piping systems for leaks and proper operation

Follow OSHA and jobsite safety requirements

Coordinate with foremen and other trades on the jobsite

Requirements

3+ years of Pipefitting experience preferred

Commercial or industrial construction experience

Ability to read blueprints and piping drawings

Strong knowledge of pipe measurements, fittings, and layout

Experience using pipefitting hand and power tools

Ability to work safely from ladders and lifts when required

Reliable transportation

Must be dependable and able to report to work on time
