Note: Location at 3108 Broadmoor Ave SE, Kentwood, MI 49512Compensation:

$15.50+ hourly DOE

Responsibilities:

Ensure the daily care and well-being of all dogs in our facility, providing a safe and nurturing environment.

Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kennels and common areas to promote a healthy space for our furry guests.

Administer feeding schedules and dietary requirements, ensuring each dog receives the appropriate nutrition and hydration.

Engage in regular play and exercise sessions with the dogs, fostering their physical and mental stimulation.

Observe and report any changes in behavior or health to the management team promptly, ensuring proactive care.

Assist in the training and socialization of dogs, working collaboratively with the team to enhance their skills and adaptability.

Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, health status, and any incidents, ensuring transparency and accountability in our care practices.

Qualifications:

Experience in animal care or a related field, ensuring the well-being of pets.

Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment, prioritizing safety and hygiene.

Proven track record of effective communication with pet owners, providing updates and insights.

Ability to work collaboratively with team members, fostering a supportive work environment.

Experience in monitoring animal behavior and health, with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to follow feeding routines accurately, ensuring dietary needs are met.

Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, participating in training sessions regularly.
