About the Position
Looking for a steady, rewarding specialty NP role in LA with standard day shifts and free parking? We are hiring a full-time Oncology / Hematology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing Los Angeles outpatient clinic. Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage oncology/hematology patients throughout the continuum of care.
Obtain comprehensive histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
Monitor treatment response, symptoms, and potential treatment-related complications.
Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and supportive care.
Coordinate care with oncologist, primary care providers, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team.
Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
Minimum one year experience as Nurse Practitioner (new graduates encouraged to apply!)
Current California Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
Prescriptive authority in California (including DEA license Schedules 3-5)
National board certification appropriate to the provider's discipline.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Oncology or hematology-oncology experience strongly preferred.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Bilingual preferred but not required
