FIRST FLAME CREW LEAD Sloopy's Diner Ohio Union, Ohio State Campus Columbus, OH EARN $16–$22 PER HOUR

Before the first pancake hits the griddle, someone has to make it happen. That someone could be YOU.

Sloopy's Diner is looking for a sharp, dependable leader to open our kitchen and set the pace for the day. You're the first one in, the one who flips the lights on, fires up the grill, and makes sure the crew is ready when the doors open. If you love the rush, take pride in a clean, prepped station, and like being the person others count on, this is your spot.

What You'll Do:

Open the kitchen and get the line fully set before service

Lead and guide the kitchen crew through the shift

Keep prep, food quality, and ticket times on point

Maintain a clean, safe, organized kitchen that follows food safety standards

Check deliveries, rotate stock, and keep the team supplied

Step in wherever the line needs you

What You Bring:

Line cook or kitchen lead experience (opening experience is a big plus)

Reliability. When you say you'll be there, you're there

A calm head when tickets stack up

The ability to lead by example and keep the crew moving

Food handler knowledge and safe kitchen habits
