Microbiologist - Hiring

Experience: 2+ years

Job Responsibilities

Perform microbiological testing of food, water, environmental and other samples.

Follow approved microbiological methods, SOPs and laboratory procedures.

Conduct routine microbiological analysis, identification and enumeration of microorganisms.

Maintain accurate test records, worksheets and laboratory documentation.

Perform media preparation, sterilization and quality checks.

Conduct Growth Promotion Testing (GPT) and other microbiological quality-control activities.

Work according to ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory requirements.

Ensure proper handling, storage and disposal of samples and cultures.

Support method verification/validation and laboratory quality activities.

Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure good laboratory practices.

Prepare test reports and communicate results to the relevant team.

Required Qualifications

BSc / MSc in Microbiology or Biotechnology

Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience

Experience in a commercial / third-party testing laboratory is preferred.

Experience in food, water or environmental microbiology is preferred.

Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and microbiological testing methods.

Good documentation and communication skills.
