Armed Security Officer – Amite, LAInner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is looking for dependable, professional Unarmed Security Officers to join our team in the Amite area. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will help provide a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and property. What You'll Do:

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned propertiesMaintain a visible security presence and help deter unauthorized activityMonitor and report security concerns, hazards, and unusual occurrencesRespond appropriately to incidents and follow established proceduresDocument nightly activities and complete required reportsInvestigate and report potential breaches of propertyCommunicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team membersWork independently while also supporting the security teamWhat We're Looking For:21 years of age or olderCustomer-service focused and professionalStrong communicators with good conflict-resolution skillsDependable and responsibleComfortable working independently and as part of a teamAble to maintain a professional appearance and demeanorAble to provide reliable transportation to and from the assigned locationComfortable using a cellphone for work-related communicationAble to successfully complete the company's pre-employment screening processEligible to obtain and maintain any security license required for the positionPhysical & Job Expectations: Standing, walking, sitting, running, and climbing as neededReading and documenting information accuratelyCommunicating clearly during routine operations and emergency situationsRemaining alert and responding appropriately to changing circumstancesDetecting and identifying relevant sounds, alarms, or emergency conditionsLifting up to 50 pounds when required by the assignmentOperating a motor vehicle when required by the assigned postIPSC is committed to providing reasonable accommodations when appropriate and available.
