The ideal candidate will possess:

3 to 5 years of hands-on flexographic prepress experience

Strong color management knowledge and experience

Thorough understanding of color separations, trapping, and print production requirements

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop

Experience with Esko artwork software

Workflow development and automation experience

Knowledge of digital press workflows and prepress processes

Experience working in both Macintosh and Windows environments

Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Ability to objectively evaluate performance and assist with training and coaching initiativesKey Responsibilities

Prepare, modify, and process customer-supplied electronic artwork files for print production

Verify artwork files meet all customer and production specifications

Analyze files for fonts, images, color accuracy, and overall printability

Perform quality assurance reviews of proofs, files, and printing plates

Troubleshoot and resolve artwork and file-related issues

Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure production continuity

Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding artwork and prepress requirements

Organize workflow and prioritize customer needs

Maintain prepress equipment and coordinate scheduled maintenance

Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry developments that may improve operations

Support compliance with company policies and American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards

Assist with operational leadership responsibilities as needed, including covering Plant Manager duties during absences

Perform other duties as assigned by management
