Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Madisonville, TX. The technician will diagnose and troubleshoot heating and cooling system issues, perform maintenance and repair services, and complete preventive maintenance on various HVAC equipment. Daily tasks include responding to service calls, inspecting systems, replacing components, checking refrigerant levels, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The role also involves communicating clearly with customers about findings, recommendations, and service options, completing accurate service documentation, and following company and industry safety standards. Technicians are expected to maintain a clean work area, use company tools and vehicles responsibly, and support a positive, customer-focused service culture.

Qualifications

Ability to maintain high levels of Customer Satisfaction through clear communication, professionalism, and reliable service.

Strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing HVAC system issues and determining effective repair solutions.

Knowledge of Maintenance & Repair practices for heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment.

Experience with Preventive Maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, and adjustments to extend equipment life and improve performance.

EPA certification (or ability to obtain) for safe handling of refrigerants and compliance with environmental regulations.

Understanding of HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical components, and basic refrigeration principles.

Ability to work safely with tools, ladders, and equipment and follow all safety policies and procedures.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification is preferred.

Capability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to varying weather and work conditions.

Full Time
