Kitchen Expediter – Hiring Now Sloopy's Diner, Ohio Union

Pay: $17–$22/hr based on experience

Location: Ohio Union, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH

Sloopy's Diner in the Ohio Union is hiring a Kitchen Expediter to keep orders moving fast and accurate from the line to the customer. If you stay calm under pressure and have an eye for detail, we want you on the team.

What you'll do:

Call and coordinate tickets between the line and pickup

Check every order for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before it goes out

Keep ticket times on track during high-volume rushes

Communicate clearly with cooks and front-of-house staff

Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe expediting station

What we're looking for:

Reliable, on time, and ready to work

Strong communication skills and a sense of urgency

Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Expediting or kitchen experience preferred

Open availability preferred, including nights and weekends
