Physician - MD/DO Part-Time Role- Flexible Schedule

Coastal Plus Medical Center, a thriving full-service medical center in Jacksonville, FL, is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Primary Care Physician (MD/D.O.) to join our compassionate and collaborative team in a part time capacity.

At Coastal Plus, we are committed to providing the highest standard of comprehensive healthcare, focusing on treating the patient holistically, not just the condition. We offer a wide spectrum of services including Family Medicine, Primary Care, Adult Care (No pediatrics) In addition we offer Chiropractic Care, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Physical Therapy.

As a Primary Care Physician at Coastal Plus, you will be a central figure in our patients' health journeys, building long-term relationships and guiding them through a comprehensive approach to wellness. The facility was founded in 1989 and proud to be treating the grandchildren of our first patients

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive primary medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions for adult patients of all ages.

Conduct thorough physical examinations, obtain detailed medical histories, and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, digital x-rays).

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.

Emphasize preventive care, including annual check-ups, immunizations, health screenings, and patient education on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.

Coordinate patient care with specialists and other healthcare professionals, facilitating referrals as needed to ensure continuity of care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.

Collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary team of providers and support staff.

Qualifications:

Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Florida.

Strong clinical diagnostic skills and knowledge of evidence-based medicine.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.

Ability to manage a diverse patient population and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.

Must have Florida License

Active DEA License
