Senior Project Superintendent

Job Description

Williams Construction is a third-generation, family-owned contractor based in Pryor, Oklahoma. We're looking for a Senior Project Superintendent to run the field side of our industrial projects from start to finish, self-performed work and subcontracted trades alike.

The job

We self-perform a large share of our own work, and we also bring in trade subcontractors on our projects. You'll run both. You'll work with our project managers to build and hold the schedule, and you'll hold your foremen and our subcontractors accountable to it, start to finish on the project.

Our projects typically run $1 million to $10 million, across new and existing industrial facilities throughout Northeast Oklahoma. You'll own the field: sequencing, safety, quality, and coordination across every trade on the job, not just the ones we self-perform.

You'll plan and sequence the project, track progress against schedule, resolve field conflicts before they cost a day, and be the person on site everyone, subs included, answers to.

What we're looking for

15+ years in construction, with real time running the field on industrial projects in the $1 million to $10 million range

Experience managing both self-performed crews and subcontracted trades on the same project

Comfortable holding subs to a schedule and a standard, not just self-performed crews

Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and multi-trade coordination

Working knowledge of OSHA construction safety

Valid driver's license. We provide the truck.

Helpful, not required: OSHA 30, experience inside operating plants or shutdowns, CPR and First Aid.\nCompany Description
