FT Receiving Associate

Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Receiving Associate to join our team at Bechants located in Boerne, Texas.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates the ability to perform various shipping and receiving duties including receiving, unpacking, verifying and fully processing incoming merchandise to company standard

Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrates the ability to utilize personal computers and Windows software applications such as MS Word and Outlook

Utilizes problem solving logic to resolve inventory issues involving multiple variables

Demonstrates the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and manage frequent interruptions

Possesses the ability to work independently to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects

Demonstrates the ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy

Assists in maintaining a clean, neat and organized environment

Enjoys working as part of a team and takes initiative with minimal supervision

Supports all areas of operational excellence

Protects company assets and maintains a safe work environment

Follows all company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal employment laws

Requirements

Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred

Friendly, out-going, open-minded, engaging personality

Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate

Basic math and computer proficiency

Can safely lift 50 lbs. while maneuvering throughout the distribution center

Available to work a variety of hours including certain holidays and weekends

Store operating hours: Monday-Saturday 10AM-5PM
