Facility Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Facility Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of the farm facilities. Working in a small team, the technician uses manual tools, standard power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment to perform equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. This position demands a strong commitment to safety compliance and the flexibility to respond to on-call emergencies and scheduled overtime.

Responsibilities

Perform equipment repair and preventive maintenance tasks efficiently

Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues within facilities

Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance standards

Utilize manual and power tools as well as specialized diagnostic equipment

Collaborate effectively within a small maintenance team of 2-5 members

Respond promptly to after-hours emergency calls and scheduled overtime requirements

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility maintenance

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in facility maintenance and farm equipment preferred
