Entry-Level MIG Welder

Job Description

We are hiring Entry-Level MIG Welders for a manufacturing facility in La Crosse, Virginia. This is a great opportunity for recent welding school graduates or welders looking to build their experience in a production environment. Day 1 Expectations / Must Haves

Candidates must meet one of the following:

Completed a High School Welding Program or Technical School Welding Program

OR

Be able to pass a 2G – 1" Horizontal Weld Test- Must pass both visual inspection and bend test Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Perform Production MIG welding on structural steel components

Weld using .045 wire

Work within established welding parameters, including 24–30 amps and 400–500 wire speed

Perform welds with an emphasis on CJP (Complete Joint Penetration)

Perform arc gouging as required

Receive material that has already been fitted and complete welds according to the blueprints and weld locations

Work with structural components including I-beams, joists, webbing, connection plates, stiffeners, supporting brackets, and other steel components
