Position: Travel Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Columbus, Ohio (43210)

Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job

Setting: Mixed Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit with Transitional PCU Beds

Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Hours per Week: 36

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Weekend Coverage: 3-4 weekend days per month

Orientation: 36 hours

On-Site: Yes

Job Requirements

Active RN license in hand at time of submission

Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience

BLS certification required

Strong telemetry knowledge and ability to interpret dysrhythmias

Experience with IV starts, PICC line management, chest tubes, and oxygen administration preferred

Ability to float to different units within the organization as needed

Adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care setting

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients

Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Support care for a broad range of general medicine and medical-surgical diagnoses

Perform and assist with unit procedures such as Foley care, IV therapy, IV antibiotics, chest tube management, and bedside interventions

Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes

Assist with rapid response and code team interventions when needed

Float within the organization based on patient care needs
