Location: New Haven County, CTPosition Summary
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join a growing construction team working on a variety of commercial, municipal, institutional, and renovation projects throughout Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.Responsibilities
Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial and renovation projects
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Perform framing, drywall, doors, hardware, trim, and other carpentry work
Assist with renovations, alterations, and building improvements
Measure, cut, and install various construction materials accurately
Build, repair, and modify walls, ceilings, partitions, and other structures
Safely operate hand and power tools
Assist with demolition and preparation of work areas as needed
Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
Follow project specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards
Identify potential issues in the field and communicate them to the supervisorQualifications
3+ years of professional carpentry or commercial construction experience preferred
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
Ability to read construction drawings and follow specifications
Commercial, institutional, or renovation experience is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
