Experienced CNC Machinist

An established and growing manufacturer of military and commercial aircraft ground support equipment currently has openings for experienced CNC Machinist. This is a direct hire, full-time position located in Monroe, North Carolina.

The candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating large and small vertical CNC machining centers to make precision parts. The candidate must be able to work efficiently to produce high quality parts to meet customer requirements.

Candidate MUST:

· Pass background and drug screening

· Have at least 3 years experience setting up and operating CNC equipment

· Have the ability to read and understand blueprints

· Be knowledgeable with GD&T and technical documents

· Have general computer skills

· Have general understanding of G-code programming

· Be able to select and properly utilize cutting tools

· Be able to work on more than one project at a time

· Be self-motivated, dependable and conscientious

· Be willing to work overtime as needed

· Be able to work as a team member

Working hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. (frequent weekend overtime opportunities offered)
