Experienced Forklift Operator - Cherry Picker/Order Picker

SIMOS is hiring experienced Cherry Picker/Order Picker Forklift Operators in New Albany, OH, for the upcoming peak season!

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour

Experience Required: Previous Raymond Cherry Picker/Order Picker experience

Candidates must complete a forklift assessment before starting. Opportunities may also be available on 2nd and weekend shifts, which offer a $2.00-per-hour shift differential.

Job Responsibilities

Operate a Stock/Order Picker throughout the duration of the shift

Load and unload cartons/packages efficiently and safely, recording all necessary paperwork

Pick, wrap, and stage orders to be shipped

Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed

Utilize RF scanners and the Warehouse Management System

High School diploma or GED

A forklift assessment will be completed prior to starting for experienced drivers.

Certification and experience operating forklift equipment is required (Order Picker)

Familiarity with RF scan gun and computer inquiries/and data entry

Able to read and count accurately and follow verbal and written directions

Able to perform repetitive motions and lift 50 lbs. continuously

Able to work overtime as needed with little or no advance notice

Associate Requirements

HS Diploma or GED

Background Check

Able to Lift 50 pounds

Drug Test

Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $21.50 - $21.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
