The Probation Officer will supervise individuals on probation, monitor compliance with court-ordered conditions, and maintain detailed case records.

Daily tasks include performing risk and needs assessments, developing case plans, coordinating with treatment providers and community resources, and preparing written reports for the court.

The role involves collaborating with judges, attorneys, law enforcement, and service agencies, as well as responding to violations and appearing in court hearings as needed.

The position requires consistent professional communication, sound judgment, and adherence to applicable laws, policies, and ethical standards.\n Qualifications\n\n Candidates should possess skills in case supervision, risk assessment, and individualized case planning.\n Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in Probation practices, including court procedures, reporting, and supervision standards.\n Candidates should possess familiarity with Law Enforcement processes and collaboration with justice partners to support public safety.\n Candidates should possess understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and due process principles.\n Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred.\n Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and professional correspondence.\n Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records with attention to detail.\n Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, handle sensitive information confidentially, and remain calm in stressful situations.\n Proficiency with basic office software and case management systems; valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as required.\n
