GROUNDS/MAINTENANCE TECH

Job Title

Basic principles, equipment, methods, and materials used in building and grounds maintenance activities

Operation and maintenance of a variety of hand, power and shop tools used in a variety of trade areas

Experience with lawn equipment and tractors

Perform grass cutting services using walking or riding mowers

Leadership ability and initiative to work without close supervision to complete task at hand

Methods and techniques of planting, cultivating, pruning, and maintaining a variety of lawns, ground cover, plants, shrubs, hedges and trees for appearance and functionality

Safe work methods and safety regulations pertaining to the work

Basic record keeping practices

Communicating effectively in oral and written forms

Willing to work outside

Attention to details

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution preferred

Leadership and Management experience preferred

Grounds and landscaping experience preferred

Maintenance experience preferred
