Process Engineering Manager (CoX)
Description:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the development, optimization, and qualification of manufacturing processes on both assembly and test
Drive improvements in yield, quality, process capability, productivity and cost through data-driven problem solving
Manage product transfer, equipment commissioning, process validation, and production ramp-up activities
Lead root-cause investigations and preventive/corrective actions for process defects, reliability concerns, and manufacturing issues
Manage, develop, and mentor process engineers and technicians with close stakeholder coordination like Product Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Quality, Operations and global technical teams
Education & Experience
At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferably Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical orChemical
With 5+ years of experience in semiconductor, laser, photonics or optoelectronics manufacturing
At least 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams with expertise in process development, qualification, yield improvement, and production ramp-up; Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
Skills
Demonstrates deep knowledge and broad experience in manufacturing processes for both assembly and testing such as die attach, thermal cycling, burn-in, test, etc
Strong skills in process development, qualification, validation, SPC, DOE, PFMEA, GR&R, and capability analysis
Proven ability to lead root-cause analysis, yield improvement, defect reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
Effective leadership, team development, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Strong business judgment, technical communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder-management competencies
Working Conditions
This role is 100% onsite. This will require working inside the cleanroom.
