Structural Welder

Job Description

$160/day Per Diem

5/10s and an 8 through the end of November.

We are seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience welding and assembling structural steel components while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

Weld structural steel components using MIG/FCAW and/or SMAW (stick) processes

Read and interpret structural drawings, weld symbols, and blueprints

Fit, tack, and weld beams, columns, plates, braces, and other structural components

Perform layout, measurement, and fabrication work as needed

Use grinders, cutting torches, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment

Inspect welds for quality and make necessary repairs

Maintain proper weld sizes, alignment, and dimensional accuracy

Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

Previous structural steel welding experience

Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols

Proficiency with common welding and fabrication tools

Ability to perform quality welds in various positions

Experience with structural steel fabrication or erection preferred

Welding certifications are a plus

Ability to pass a weld test

OSHA 10 certification is a plus

Strong attendance and dependable work history
