Job Description*:

Core skill for API automation:

API - Excellent knowledge in API automation using Karate framework.

Strong core Java concepts

Functional testing knowledge (Mobile, web and API)

Automation knowledge - karate, Restassured, BDD, Cucumber (Selenium and Playwright framework is a plus).

Good knowledge of Agile methodology

Experience in JIRA and confluence.

Retail banking domain knowledge

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain API automation scripts using REST Assured/Karate/Postman.

· Validate REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML payloads, authentication, and business workflows.

· Design reusable automation frameworks and execute regression suites.

· Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps).

· Perform API, integration, and regression testing.

· Analyze defects, collaborate with development teams, and ensure quality delivery.

· Experience with Java, Maven, Git, JIRA, SQL, and Agile methodologies.
