Applications requiring educational credit to meet the minimum qualifications submitted without an official transcript or degree will be rejected.\n \n Under direction, is responsible for coordinating the design, development, and delivery of information technology training programs and materials; performs related duties as required.\n \n Examples of Work (May not include all of the duties that may be performed.)\n\n Identifies, develops, and implements training programs to be administered for District faculty and staff;\n Develops training course content; designs computer training manuals by identifying and describing information needs;\n Coordinates the preparation of easy-to-understand training materials that can be used with a diversely-skilled audience;\n Reviews external training programs, partners with vendors, and recommends best fit for the District;\n Provide hands-on training sessions on technical aspects and issues;\n Provides educational technology guidance and expertise for K-12 faculty;\n Conducts training classes by presenting job-specific, district-specific, and generic software applications ;\n Evaluates training materials and recommends changes;\n Implements best practices in training programs and schedules;\n Develops and provides online learning competencies;\n Ensures compliance with District practices and procedures in training programs;\n Coordinates and facilitates meetings with trainers, facilitators, and subject matter experts to review the effectiveness of training programs and solicit information to identify future training needs.
\n\n Department Preferred Qualifications:\n \n\n Two (2) or more years’ experience with and training users on the Infinite Campus student information system\n Experience with any student information system is a plus\n Some experience using and training users on Elevate Data Quality (formerly known as Certify)\n Good grasp of K-12 educational policies and procedures including but not limited to:\n behavior, attendance, scheduling, grading, reporting\n Experience writing / maintaining technical documentation, training materials, presentations, and videos\n Experience with Atlassian Confluence, TechSmith SnagIT are a plus\n Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Google Slides\n\n \n \n Minimum Qualifications:\n Five (5) years of experience developing, coordinating, or conducting employee training or workforce development programs.
Substitution(s): An associate degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a related field may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a related field may substitute for four (4) years of the required experience.\n Official Transcripts or Degree is required to receive educational credit.
